#muslimand is a campaign that expands common perceptions of who muslim people are. it highlights the diversity of young muslims in america and the existence of lgbtq muslims – we are #muslimand queer, #muslimand fighting for racial justice, and #muslimand important!  this effort is being led by the muslim youth leadership council (mylc), a group of young muslims across the country working at the intersections of islamophobia, sexual health, lgbtq rights, and racial justice
