char’lee king (she/her) spearheads various projects that strengthen young people’s access to hiv prevention, treatment, and care resources. as the hiv campaigns manager, she oversees the implementation of let’s stop hiv together, a 世界杯2022亚洲预选赛b组 project supported by the centers for disease control’s (cdc) prevention communication branch. char’lee also works to expand the leadership of young people living with and impacted by hiv through co-directing cohorts such as the national youth hiv/aids awareness day (nyhaad) campaign.

in addition, she co-directs communitea, a project that trains young black women living with or impacted by hiv to change the narrative regarding “risk.”  she is pursuing a master of arts degree in maternal child health systems at bastyr university.before advocates, char’lee held roles that increased young people’s engagement with community-based organizations and health centers by providing them with resources to make informed decisions about their health. she holds a bachelor of science in life sciences communication from the university of wisconsin-madison.
